Pandora Jewellery's Support

Danish jewelry brand PANDORA aims to inspire and be inspired by women who want to tell their own unique story and, sometimes, this encompasses the effects of breast cancer. One of our designers, Lone Frandsen, has created a pink ribbon bead in support of the fight against breast cancer, and for each piece sold, 15% of the retail sale is donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). The first bead is created from solid 14 carat gold and decorated with beautiful pink sapphires, while the second is hand crafted in sterling silver with pink zirconias, each charming and strongly supportive. Designer, Lone Frandsen, says that in designing the two beads she wanted to create something that was "simple, feminine, and that every woman recognised."

During the year 2007, PANDORA successfully raised $70,762 which was proudly donated to the NBCF at the International Women’s Day Luncheon in Sydney during March. PANDORA’s Australian Director, Karin Adcock, says of handing over the cheque that "...this is such a worthy cause and PANDORA is fully committed in its support of the on-going fight against breast cancer."

For 2009, PANDORA raised $650,000 for the NBCF. This incredible donation wouldnt have been possible without the support and dedication of their retailers and customers. It is such a worthy and relevant cause in modern Australian society. What a wonderful acheivement! The Pink Hope community is thankful that businesses like PANDORA contribute to a cause which affects their families.

The two beads are sold nationally all year round, available from PANDORA stores and leading jewelers, with a price of $304 (gold & pink sapphires), and $56 (silver & pink zirconia). The PANDORA range is inclusive of the coveted charm bracelet, rings, earrings, necklaces and brooches, each individually designed to represent a special moment in your life.

Life has its moments... Make them unforgettable.

Pink Hope's website is proudly supported by PANDORA and without their generous assistance and support, none of this would be possible.
