The Pink Bride

Pink is a special colour for many women. For me, it's the colour of my family. To celebrate the trials and tribulations of my family I wore pink to honour the very special women in my family. My great grandmother, my grandma, my mum and the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Chris knew why I chose the colour pink when I walked down the aisle. Breast cancer is such a major part of my life, in a positive and negative way. Chris knows this and helped me rejoice in it.

We donated money to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and gave a pink ribbon to each of the guests. I remember looking around at our wedding and seeing everyone wearing their pink ribbons. It made me so proud and I loved to see all my family and friends supporting the cause which has been so influential in my life.

I would love to see more pink brides.... here are a few of the photos to inspire you.
