Hi everyone,
This Bright Pink Lipstick Day (Friday September 16th 2022), I intend to make a difference to a cause that is close to my heart by fundraising for Pink Hope.
Pink Hope is the peak Australian organisation for support and advocacy for people with and families living with a higher risk of hereditary breast and ovarian cancers.
2022 has been a particularly difficult year for my family. As a lot of you know, my Mum was diagnosed with a BRCA2+ related peritoneal cancer, 13 years after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009. Pink Hope has been instrumental in providing information and peer support to me since 2010.
This year I am asking you, my friends and family to join me and support my efforts by making a secure online donation, and to also commit to having your own (potentially life-saving) conversations with your family about your family cancer risk.
All donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Pink Hope.
