A little about me

Monday 8th Aug
This is me 7 years ago. 24 hours post prophylactic double mastectomy and reconstruction (DIEP). I am so incredibly grateful for Pink Hope and all the support I have received and continue to receive while I navigate this life. It’s been 8 years since I found out I have BRCA1 and my life changed that moment. There’s a lot to unpack, and a lot I’ve had to overcome but with knowledge comes power and I’m so grateful I was given the power to take my health into my own hands. It’s a constant battle sometimes with my body, but it’s a decision I would make over and over again. I’m raising money this year for Pink Hope to continue to be able to support those with a BRCA diagnosis through everything life throws at them.
