Simone Paterson is a Certified Lymphoedema Therapist and a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a special interest in Pilates.
Simone works at Women in Focus Physiotherapy, Bondi Junction in Oncology Rehabilitation and the early monitoring and early intervention for Lymphoedema.
Simone mostly works with women during and after their treatment for breast cancer but also sees women who have had gynaecological cancers or melanomas.
Oncology rehabilitation at Women in Focus involves many things including education, addressing postural issues following surgery or treatment, restoring movement of the shoulder and thorax, providing specific strengthening classes based on research into the benefits of exercise for women during and after cancer treatment, and assessing, monitoring and treating lymphoedema.
