Pink Hope and Prof Jane Ussher discuss the Out With Cancer Research Study

23 Aug 2021

In this webinar, Pink Hope and Professor Jane Ussher from the University of Western Sydney, discuss the Out With Cancer Research study.

This three year project is focused on understanding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI+) experiences of cancer, being high risk and cancer care.

Out With Cancer is the largest international study of it's kind and they are looking to hear from patients, their partner(s), family members and friends and from all LGBTQI+ people who have cared for someone with cancer.

They want to hear from the partners, family members and friends of LGBTQI+ people with cancer, as well as LGBTQI+ people who have cared for someone with cancer (15y+).

Please take the online survey, at the link below, (20 to 45 mins) with the option of a follow-up interview to discuss your experiences in more depth. You can also take part in a further photo interview, using photos taken by you. This information will be used to develop better information and support for LGBTQI+ people with cancer and their carers.
